Lalou reserves the right at any time to modify, alter, amend or update these terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates.
Placing an order
Lalou products are handmade to order unless they are one off originals. To place an order simply click on add to basket of the item you wish to buy. You can continue to shop if you wish or proceed to checkout.
Once at the checkout you will be asked to enter your paypal details if you have a paypal account or you can alternatively enter your credit/debit card details if you do not have a paypal account.
Paypal will then send you an email confirmation for this transaction.
You will receive a confirmation email from Lalou confirming acceptance of your order within 24 hours. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Lalou is entitled to refuse any order placed by you for any reason.
Payment Methods
We use paypal to process orders. For more details on paypal please visit Paypal.com. If you prefer to pay by cheque or bank transfer please email for further details. Cheque payments must be cleared prior to dispatching goods.
Postage and Packing
All orders will be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery or First Class Recorded (depending on order value). We aim to dispatch all goods within 2 - 3 weeks as they are handmade however you will be informed if there is to be any delay. Goods will not be dispatched on bank holidays or public holidays. If you need your items urgently please email us.
All parcels will need to be signed for and delivery addresses provided should be a place where someone will be present.

Returns/Refunds
As most of our products are made to order we cannot accept these back for a refund unless they are faulty.
Earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons and customised items cannot be returned unless faulty.
If you wish to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible. If the item has been dispatched you must return the item to us at your own cost. Original postage charges will not be refunded.
For your protection we recommend you use a recorded delivery service for returning items. You must also make sure that items are securely packaged and in their original condition on returning them to us.
In the unfortunate event that an item is found to faulty or damaged on receipt please contact us by email as soon as possible and return the item within 7 days for a full refund (including reimbursement of delivery charges) or exchange.
Bespoke Service
A bespoke service is available in which we can work together to create something completely original. If so please email me to discuss your requirements. A deposit will be required prior to me starting the item of jewellery.
Disclaimer
Due to the nature of gemstones and pearls, variations may occur in shape and colour. We try to show the colour of products as accurately as possible however we cannot guarantee that colours in our images will look the same on different browsers and computer monitors.
Privacy Policy
We will not pass any information into third parties at any time. Any personal details you submit are for the sole purpose of receiving news and special offers from Lalou.
As we use paypal we do not see any of your financial data once a purchase is made.
